Wow! 2020 has been quite the year. As a person, I feel that I have grown so much over the last 12 months. Though many situations have not been ideal, I think 2020 was the perfect opportunity for learning acceptance and growth. Patience, gratitude, and family are a few of the important things in 2020 for me.

You may remember that at the beginning of 2020 I created a vision board for my year. I decided to do a similar thing for 2021 and this is what I am going to be writing about today.

I invited a couple of friends over to make vision boards together. We spread out a number of magazines across the floor, put on some music, and started clipping. The process took us about 4 hours but we took breaks, went to lunch, and went ice skating in between.

It was a great experience to do this with friends because our boards ended up reflecting ourselves and were very unique. Below is a video that we made, showing the creation process.

As you can probably tell, my 2021 board is very different than last year's. Instead of using a wire grid, I used a large frame and made a collage. Although I enjoyed both methods and they were each effective, I enjoyed putting my vision board in a frame because it smoothed out all of the paper scraps and looked more professional.

Making a vision board is a perfect activity for the new year and I invite you to try this creative process.

This is the video I made last year:

What a fun project! Can't wait to try it with Molly. Thanks for the inspiration (now and throughout 2020).
