Raining Sunburst Colors

Drip

Drip

Drip

The rain is speaking

It is becoming louder

AND LOUDER

AND LOUDER

I cannot hear myself

Until the broom sweeps the noise

Under the carpet.

Silence is left

Like feathers in the wind

The sun comes out

And fills the opening air

Colors of mango, orange, strawberry

A burst of fresh beauty

Spills on the dusty sky

An entire can of paint being dumped

And drizzled across the horizon

Sunburst colors are raining

On the rain now gone

I can taste the horizon

And its beautiful transformation

As the cloud covers the future

And hides all beauty

Water pours down

Drip

Drip

Drip

Utterly amazing and wonderful. Each poem is a piece of you, a piece of art, and superb.
