I have not written on my blog in a while and since COVID continues to affect our lives, I've decided to make a short video. I have recently gone back to school but it is not the same. Thanks for sharing your experiences at school. I think every school will be so different this year. I know several are doing blended classes, and some kids are at home listening to their teachers on Zoom while their classmates are in class. Such a weird time. I think being a teacher right now has got to be so hard as well. Glad you are with your peers.

Love seeing your face and hearing your voice. Love your attitude about the changes. Though not ideal, we can do this!

Ava, I appreciate that you are paying attention to the things happening around you, and even more that you seem determined to find the positives in what you are experiencing. Keep persevering and keep your eyes peeled for the good things. They are there, even when they are difficult to see. You will be rewarded, I promise. The treasures are there. Good luck, and much love. Kevin.

So fun to SEE you, Ava, so I am glad you did a video. Your sharing of what it is like to be in high school in early fall of 2020 is a gift to those of us who simply can’t imagine the experience that students and teachers are having to deal with. I look forward to learning more. I know how busy you are so I am especially grateful that you are taking time to post on your blog.
