Monday, May 18:

Mondays in the winter are not my favorite days but a Monday in the summer has a completely different feel. I love the beginning of the week, it brings so much possibility. After starting my bullet journal, I have been captivated by making goals, and Monday is the perfect day for planning out your week along with thinking about accomplishments. I have enjoyed making spreads for my bullet journal and have attached some for you to use or print out. Bullet journaling has allowed me to be creative and reflective and I am hoping to share this passion with others.

As I have mentioned, I have been wanting to sell my art for a long time. I love creating things but it gets challenging knowing where to store everything and I do not have much wall space left. Other people have been very interested in my art and I decided to open an Etsy shop. It is now up and running although most of the items listed our old paintings and I am currently working on making new things to list. Reed and I started this together. He makes a lot of digital art like screensavers for computers and collages while I stick to tangible art.
To find our Etsy shop:

Search "RavaDesignCo" on esty.com
At the top menu bar of my blog, find "Artist Alley" and that will take you right to our shop.
It is really fun being able to make anything I want and I don’t feel limited because I know that there’s someone out there who will enjoy it. Yesterday, for example, I went to Target and saw some small clocks for one dollar. These are not fancy clocks, they were simple wooden circles with a dial in the middle, but it opened my eyes to what I could turn them into. I purchased six clocks and the painted results will be listed soon. I am not bringing my Etsy site to your attention so that you will buy stuff. I don't want you to feel obligated because I would happily make anything for anyone on this blog.
Wednesday, May 20th:
I don't have any stories to tell today
it is just simple, sun-shiny in a way
sometimes I write on my blog for you
other times it is for me
maybe both of us too.
I'm looking outside of my window now
there isn't one cloud around
my room is quiet and calm
nature outside is chaotic and beautiful
the large tree is dancing
birds hop along the yard, prancing.
Today is going to be a wonderful day
whenever you are reading this, hey!
make today memorable and great
try to calm your feelings of hate
now off you go, be on your way.
