Book Review: The Momentous Events in the Life of a Cactus

Momentous Events in the Life of a Cactus or Cactus 2 as I call it (because as you probably have already noticed it is a very long title.) is an amazing book. But do not read it until you have read Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus because it is a sequel. I can't get too in depth with this because I do not want to spoil a great book for you! But Momentous Events in the Life of a Cactus is about a 14 year old girl going into high school who doesn't have any arms. As you might know fitting in is hard as a normal person but if you don't have arms it is even harder.

Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus is about Aven too but instead of High school she is in middle school. Imagine going into middle school with no arms and being a new kid who just moved from Kansas to the hot dry Arizona. Go through more than just school but she will also have a mysterious mystery to solve. With Dusti's great writing you can be standing next to Aven the whole time and go on a mysterious great adventure.
