Mondays: The beginning

A blank piece of paper

Ready to be hurled with paints

The week is about to begin,

So fasten your seatbelt

A day you don’t get to sleep in

You don’t get to do whatever

You want

Alarm clock: RING RING

Arg!

It’s a Monday

And a day that’s not fair

Yesterday was a blast!

But today?

Why are Mondays so

Mean

Careless

Monday

Are you ready for a new week?

“No.”

Mondays: a stripped, peeling fence

Old and not cared for

Everyone is tired of you

When

People lay

Their eyes on

You

Monday

They groan

Another week.
