Who am I?

I am I

I am me

I am you

to you.

I am good

I am bad

I am happy

I am sad.

I'm the wind

on a windless day

I'm the ocean

when you're far away.

I am the wrinkles

upon your face

I am your blemishes

do not erase.

I am a snowflake

I am a human

I am chocolate cake

I am a person

I am someone

I am an athlete

watch me run.

I am a mountain

from the earth I rose

I am someone

from my head to my toes.

I am memories

built up inside

like a volcano

my memories will slide.

I am stories

and habits and song

I am like me

Nothing is wrong

I am a poem

I am a lyric

I am a letter

In the world of a book.

I am a story

waiting to be told

I am just me

even when I grow old.
