Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Day 10 of Quarantine: A Limerick Poem Total cases (US): 68211 Total deaths(US): 1027
Here is a poem, a splash of fun Only a couple of minutes, then you’ll be done It’s the tenth day of quarantine I’m sick of living through a screen Now I'll let you start line one. It began at the end of last year I’ll give you a hint: it’s a brand of beer How it has changed the game So hard to tame And we thought it would never be here. School is now through video chat Even art and band, imagine that! It was fun at first Now I’m going to burst If we stay in our houses, we’ll all get fat. Boredom has gotten to us all At least we have video call But it’s not the same It’s such a shame The world feels very small after all. Now you HAVE to stay at home Governor Polis announced through a microphone Hundreds are dead They can’t stop the spread How long do we have to be alone? Online school seems harder than normal Every class full of papers that are formal You can’t do an activity Or anything with brevity Writing, and typing, and writing like an animal Happy Thursday to all The 10th day of protocol I hope it is good Write a poem, you could But be sure to get out the Lysol
Stay crazy,
Ava

Love it!
That picture’s got smiles, and faces glad
Except of course, your Mom and Dad
But in a time when things require
New efforts to connect us through a wire;
I’m glad for your unbroken spirit
Which gives us all another minute
To celebrate just what we have
A family bound by love and laughs
So thank you Ava may your good graces
Next time capture John and Nancy’s faces!
