Our living room remodel is complete... now on to the stairwell! Today I am going to talk about the importance of staying updated. This doesn‘t have to be with your home, although it is a great example. You can also stay fresh and rejuvenated with you mind, computer, body, and belongings. Below are some ways to EASILY refresh your computer and home. I have also added some before/after pictures of the living room and what is going on in the stairwell right now. ;)
Here are a couple of tips to keep your computer or phone updated besides installing an update.
1) Find a new screensaver. This can be very impactful and can make your phone or computer feel different and even new.
2) Similar to updating the background, rearranging apps can give your phone a new feel.
3) Delete! Cleaning up unnecessary documents, emails, apps, and texts is a great thing to do. Go to settings > general >iPhone storage on your phone to see recommendations that will free up some space.
Keeping your home updated is a fun and refreshing task but it can also get tiring and expensive. Here are some simple ways you can give your home a little love for the spring. These tasks can be completed without a “Johnny” in your home.
1) Flowers! Whether on a deck or in a vase, flowers add character and will get you in the mood for spring.
2) Making small changes can do a lot. Rather than getting an entire new vanity, try changing the mirror, knobs, or lighting.
3) Rearranging! At our house, we rearrange A LOT! It gives you a new perspective but don’t forget to dust long-hidden floor under your furniture. :)
4) If you are feeling tired of a bed, couch, or chair, get some new pillows. This is a simple fix and may change your outlook on the furniture.
Stay updated,
Ava

Your dad is a brave man. I love the colors on your walls. Also, I have been composting for years. I love to add richness to my garden. So glad you have found the love of gardening. Just like your great-grandpa and Aunt Jane.
John! Abort the ladder! Abort the ladder now!
Great tips, Ava - for now and for life! Goodness gracious, your dad is brave and balanced!
Hi Ava,
I forwarded your blog to the people who run OSHA, in Washington DC. They were very interested in your Dad's "scaffolding" apparatus and asked for more details regarding its construction. Evidently, they have some "safety" rules that he may have "broken".
When this pandemic is over, they would like your photos for "evidence".
Has your Dad ever painted in a "correctional" facility?
